The Rams reactivated a former player who participated in our previous seasons campaign. Since then, the player in question had played internationally and, at the time of rejoining, was not under contract with any team in the UK or abroad.

As a result, an ITC form was not completed, and the player did not check the necessary box on the portal. Upon initial contact from BAFA, the Rams immediately cooperated and provided email proof to confirm the player’s status and eligibility, along with a detailed timeline of events.

Despite our efforts, the information provided was deemed insufficient by BAFA, and they have taken the appropriate action. The Rams acknowledge this decision.

This incident was a result of an oversight and misunderstanding of the rules and regulations. The issue has now been resolved, and the Rams are focused on preparing for our upcoming game against the Humber Warhawks, this Sunday.
