Rams Rookie Day Success

Sunday the 3rd of November saw the annual Yorkshire Rams rookie day take place, with over 30 new hopefuls turning out for the team. The new players were shown the basics of the game and put through their paces learning from the Rams’ coaches and veteran players.

Speaking about how the day went, Yorkshire’s new GM Adam Cowley had this to say, “The day went really well, there were plenty of athletes on display. The guys got to learn plenty of basic fundamentals and finished well through a tough fitness session. All the feedback we had was great and we can’t wait to keep going with these guys.”

The Rams are still looking for new players, whether you have any previous football experience or not. The next training session takes place this and every Sunday at 11am at Leeds Corinthians Rugby Club, LS10 4AX. Just bring boots for grass and clothes you don’t mind getting a little muddy. There’s showers on site so changing isn’t a problem!
