2016 season schedule confirmed

Thu Mar 03 2016

The Yorkshire Rams will kick off their 2016 season against the West Coast Trojans on April 10.

After the BAFA Division One North fixtures were announced on Tuesday, we can reveal that the Scottish side will provide the opposition for two of our first three fixtures - with the May 1 trip north serving to sandwich April 17’s away game at the Gateshead Senators.

Back-to-back games with the Manchester Titans follow, across the Pennines on May 8 and back at South Leeds Stadium two weeks later.

The Clyde Valley Blackhawks visit Yorkshire on June 12, with the Rams then crossing the border twice to face the Edinburgh Wolves on June 19 and the Blackhawks once more on July 3.

Home games with Gateshead and Edinburgh on July 17 and 31 complete the regular season, with coach David Pawson and his squad desperate to extend their campaign into August’s play-offs to secure a return to the Premiership.

Tickets will be available on the gate at all home games at South Leeds Stadium, priced at £5 for adults with free entry for under-16s accompanied by an adult.

Season tickets are also available at £20, covering all five matches and any subsequent home play-off games. Details of how you can get your season ticket will be confirmed in the near future!
