Rams secure MOD Pizza sponsorship

Mon Dec 19 2016

The Yorkshire Rams are pleased to announce a new sponsorship deal with the Leeds branch of MOD Pizza.

The Seattle-based chain opened its first UK site at the city’s Cardigan Fields leisure park this year and its national roll-out has led to further branches in London, Brighton, Gateshead and Nottingham.

An initial arrangement saw the Rams team head to MOD for a post-match meal after our final two home games of last season, leading to a formal link-up for the new campaign.

Steve Smith, the Rams’ sponsorship officer, said: “We are pleased that MOD pizza at Cardigan Fields has offered their support this season.

“As community-based organisations we both know the value of teamwork and, of course, who doesn’t love pizza?”

Head coach David Pawson added: “The committee have been working extremely hard over the off season to develop the team off the field and this partnership is something we as a team wanted.

“Being able to work alongside them in the community is something that the team is keen to develop even further and as a team we look forward to celebrating home games at their premises along with fans of the Rams.”

As well as sponsoring the club with financial backing, MOD are kindly donating 20 per cent of sales generated by the Rams to the club - so quote ‘Rams’ on entry to support your local team.

There will be more to come throughout the season and on game days where the MOD squad will be along - keep an eye on the team and MOD on Twitter and Facebook for details!
