Rams delight young fans with signed ball

There was a treat for three young Rams fans this week in the form of a ball signed by the team.

The idea came from rookie wide receiver Jeff Quartey, who was surprised to be asked by the son of his work colleague Darren to sign his football after July 1’s win over the Manchester Titans.

Jeff said: “His son’s always been a fan of American football and just fell in love with the Rams.

“He said he wanted a signature but I thought it would be better to get everyone’s signature, do it as a team rather than individually.”

The Rams’ players and coaches did the necessary after last Sunday’s training session and Jeff returned the ball to Darren and his delighted children Billy, Eden and Freddie.

We’re glad they like it, Darren, and we’ll look forward to seeing you and the kids at John Charles Stadium again!
